Dr. Melinda Schwoegler received her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Colgate University and went on to be awarded a  Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University.  After graduating from veterinary school, she completed a 13-month internship in internal medicine and critical care at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Denver, Colorado. She  then became a companion animal practitioner in Vail, Colorado before moving back East to practice at Parkside Veterinary Hospital. We are honored to have Melinda as a member of our team. She brings a tremendous depth of current medical knowledge all with a warm smile. Melinda enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but is especially fond of emergency medicine and gastrointestinal disorders. 

Outside of work, she enjoys road and mountain biking, skiing, rock-climbing, horseback riding and spending time with her husband, two dogs and one cat.  Melinda is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and is very excited to be back closer to home.
